Winter Invitation
Sixty players were blessed with bright sunny weather for our Winter Invitation.

This ever popular 9 hole competition welcomed visitors from Heydon Grange, Colmworth, Knebworth, Aldwickbury and a return to Chesfield for Liz Cooke and Brigid Kerr. We all enjoyed a delicious hot carvery before the presentation of the many prizes.

Over £450 was raised from the raffle and sale of Christmas cards, this goes towards Sarah's charity for 2018, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.

The second Pearson match took place last week with Brocket Hall coming to play at Chesfield. Some close fought games. Final score Chesfield 3 Brocket Hall 4. There will now be a mid season recess until April.

Christmas Greensomes
Still time to sign up for some Christmas fun. Lots of on course fun, food, forfeits and frolics followed by presentation of cheque to Willow Foundation in the Gallery Suite. Bring your nibbles to enjoy whilst taking part in Marica's quiz.

Christmas party will take place in the evening, get your glad rags on and come and boogie on down.

Wreath making workshop on Tuesday 19th December. £30 to include all materials and refreshments. Take home your own 'homemade' wreath for your front door. Contact Jackie if you wish to book a place

New Club Sweaters
Is your pale blue sweater looking the worse for wear? Fancy a change? Now taking orders for a bright and cheerful foxglove sweater. Absolutely no obligation.

Ken Bird Winter League round 3 was an individual stableford competition. Well done to Pat Ward, top placed lady.
