Scratch Team v Verulam (Away)

Match Day 7 for the Scratch Team was Away at historic Verulam, in St Albans, the home course of Sam Ryder, who came up with the idea for the Ryder Cup. The team for this match was Virginia, Kathy, Pat, Lauren and yours truly.

The sun failed to shine very much but the matches were hard fought with the majority finishing at either the 17th or 18th. Unfortunately Verulam, with home advantage came out the winners by 3 matches to 2. It was really close….

Big thanks once again to the team for great performances all round. One match remains in our season when we will be entertaining the girls from Verulam at our place on Friday 23rd September. We will get the better of them on home soil I am sure!

Well done and good luck for the next match!
